For some years I've been trying to find a comprehensive list of artists and makers in the county and it's impossible. Some months ago I went to a Cumbria Tourism cultural tourism meeting thinking that this might be the way only to be told that it was too difficult to compile one. This means there's no way of informing all county based artists of any cultural innitiatives in the area.
